Hey, howzitgoing?
I've got a 2000 Dyna Super Glide and everytime I change the oil I get a big mess everytime I change out my oil filter. I can drain the oil without making a mess (okay, that parts not hard) but as soon as I unscrew the filter I get about 2 ounces of old oil dribbling down the front of the bike. Is there some way to avoid this. No, I don't mind getting dirty I just want to know if better mechanics than me can do this without the mess.
Thanks for your time.

Some people cut a 2 litre sode bottle and slip it under. Some people punch a hole in the end of the filter and another on top and let the oil run out. Some people put tin foil under the filter.
