Going toward my 5k service,In Hawaii this is what I found.Royal purple 20/50 Car stuff Mobile 1 15/50 car stuff and sync 3.Also found some mobile 1 75/90 gear oil.My question whats my best combo for whats available to me for my oil change.
I use 15/50 (Gold cap) in the engine itself. I use the Mobile 1 75/90 in the tranny, and I use the HD primary oil in the primary while under warranty for the clutch. I don't have a good explanation on that last one, I just haven't seemed to get an straight answer from Skip (or missed it altogether) on whether or not I can run regular 10W40 Mobile 1 in the primary.

Straight answer? LOL, you could run it, but it surely is expensive for what it's doing. I'd stay with the HD primary stuff 'til after warranty.
Mac,
Thanks for your reply,I didnt get to check but is there more than one mobile 1 15/50.

There used to be Mobil 1 15w-50 with a red cap. It has been "improved" and now has a gold cap. It is for automobiles, but a lot of us use it, and have been doing so for years, for motorcycles.
