We should amp this thread up a bit and get some face-to-face rides going. When we lived out in North Carolina, our best riding buddies were another couple from just up the road that Mrs and I met here. We road as 2x two-up couples and Jessie and I did some cool "bachelor rides" too.
FWIW I'll be out in Manteca, CA this weekend, free Saturday if anyone wants to meet up somewhere around San Joaquin, Stanislaus, El Dorado, etc. Of course, it'll be like 107F but hey - adventure, right?
I was thinking about heading out early and having breakfast up in Columbia State Park at that little diner on the main street there. If anyone is up for it, get in early, coffee/eat and putt around. I need to get back to Santa Cruz County Saturday night tho.
