If I lived in Redding, I'd ride Placer Rd to Platina as often as possible! Then ride Hwy 36....either way!

Yeah its a nice ride but real slow going once you get into the twisty's closer to 36. Not the best section of road on a bagger at least. We like the ride out to French Gulch and up to Burney then 89 and back down 44 into town.

Thats a nice ride! I live in Susanville. I like to ride out of town on the 36 to the 44 and then at old station turn Right onto 89 and go up to 299 over to 139 and back into susanville or for a longer ride take 299 all the way to 395 and back into town

I enjoy the ride over 44 and through Susanville going to Street Vibes twice a year. This year I think we're gonna head down to 36 and over 70 though just to change things up a bit.

If you come down 36 you will go thru susanville and wont need to go over 70.

Im here in Sacramento. Just go my first Harley but have been riding for years. We have a couple shows coming up. 1st one is 4-30-17. Vehicles for Veterans. It will be at McClellan Business Park. You can see it on their website www.vehilcesforveteransshow.com
