If you do want to ride with the group from Glendale, then it is best to get the VIP parking. Everyone says you need to do it once. We did last year. Once is enough. This year we're going directly to the Fairplex. If you ride with the group, you probably won't get there till almost noon.Event ends at 4:00 I believe. Have fun.
For several years I've ridden with the Toy Ride (sportbikes). I've ridden with large numbers of bikes and personally, it's the most stress on a bike thatI've ever endured.
Saturday it's the Meet N Greet and the Fairplex and on Sunday, I'll be happy to take a nice afternoon ride up to the Rockstore and hang out there instead.

If you ride to the fairplex on Sunday. Not with the group does it still cost 75.00 to get in??
It did at the Castaic venue. They would park you on a side street until the first bunch from Glendale showed up, then let you in. DON'T PRE-REGISTER!!!!. The last couple of years there were people selling pre-registration tickets for people that registered and couldn't make it....usually 1/2 price.
I don't want to sound like the voice of doom and gloom. The bucks do go to a good charity. Down here, if you wanted good seats for the concert, you spend 1/2 the day sitting there to keep your good seats. If you wanted to walk around to see the few vendors that were there, or the motorcycle show, well, you didn't get seats (actually hay bales) to the concert. You sat on the grass and hoped the 10,000 people in front of you didn't stand up.
Now that it is associated with a 3 day show, I'm sure there will be more vendors and entertainment than in a 1 day show.
I believe Sunday is $75 since it's the Love Ride and not Bike Week. Bike Week (it's only two days, so why call ilt Bike Week?) is basically Fri and Sat and gen. admission is $20/day. The drag races and flat track races are extra. I think you get $2 off if you buy inadvance from an HD dealer.

I'm guessing the drags, Bike week and the Love Ride while all at the Fairplez will be held in 3 different sections of the fairgrounds with probably common parking.
3 days still do not a week make but it's a start.[8D]
I'm going Saturday to avoid the overload I think Sunday will bring.

General admission is $20 on Sunday. Gates open at 10am.Should be totally different set-up than last year as far as entry. I'm planning on gettin' in at 10. You won't get the Love Ride goody bag or the fantastic Bar-B-Que, but you can buy a Love Ride T-shirt there. And there will be food vendors with probably better food than the BBQ, which wasn't very good last year. On two admissions I'll save $110. I know it's for charity, but I've maxed out on contributions already this year. Contributed to fire victims in San Diego.
so I had an amazing time on my first love ride experience, and I plan on doing it again next year. met some good people, seen some amazing bikes, seen some crazy characters, all and all a perfect day.
