What about the sNaKe Pit Rally?????
The sNaKe Pit Rally!!!! www.snakepitrally.com or www.smpc-rally.com
Thisis something totally new and different; it is a "back to the basics" motorcycle rally at the privatly owned 10 acre lot of the Rock Creek Lodge in Clinton Montana (20 miles from Missoula) -- site of the 26 year running Testy Fest. Since it is on a private lot, full nudity is allowed -- there won't be any tape over nipples here!
The sNaKe PiT Music and MotorcycleRally comes from entirely different angle on many fronts. First, it is truly a grassroots effort, put on and funded out of pocket by tworegular guys(my brother and I) who decided to quit our jobs, cash in our retirements, and follow a dream. We also feel it is always important to give back to the community so will be donating 5% of proceeds to the Seattle Children's Hospital which serves to take care of sick kids throughout the entire NW. We have drawn together some amazing talent from across the NW and a copy of the festival schedule is attached. You can also hear some of the music by going to the "featured artists" section on our website or listening to the radio interview posted on our home page.
We combined this with a true motorcycle rally, which will feature typical motorcycle events such as biker games, a bike show, a bikini bike wash, and other festivities such as a wet T-Shirt contest (winner receiving $250 and a photo shoot) and a Miss SPMC contest (winner receiving $500 and a photo shoot). The Seattle Cossacks Stunt motorcycle group will be performing shows on Friday and Saturday of the fest.
On Saturday night of the fest we will be giving away a Jack Daniel's electric guitar and everyone buying an entry ticket to the fest will get one free chance to win. Because we believe in gifting we also will be giving away 2000 copies of our Thundergirls poster and have been able to get sponsorship to give away 1000 cans of Monster energy drink; there is even going to be two different tobacco companies giving away free chew tobacco! To MC the event we have hired the actor "Chucky" from LA, the midget star (playing the "devil") of the TV show Blind Date. One of our vendors makes multiple blended drinks using a 6 - speed Harley engine that shoots flames, and we have The Mad Hatter Cafe coming from Washington who will be setting up a full on outdoor "Alice in Wonderland" restaurant.
Even our tickets are even a little different -- we have printed the tickets on the rally T-Shirt (web sales only). So for less than the cost of camping at a KOA for 4 days someone coming to our fest gets a T-Shirt, camping, festivities, vending, motorcycles, and music for only $56 bucks with full in-and-out privileges. The gate price will go up to $65, but we are letting all Montana residents, Military, Student, and AMA members in for $60 (eqv. to only $15 / day) -- ID required. By Liquor board requirements the entire site will be a 21 and over event -- again, ID will be required.Even though it is a 4 dayrally,quite honestly even just the Saturday show alone is worth the $60 -- especially considering all that is offered, including the really cheap beers in the sNaKe PiT bar ($1 cans of beer!) and the Stumblebus which is a modified school bus complete with stripper pole ... You don't want to miss this!
