May 4 - SD Escort Mobile Vietnam Wall

Here's a ride for us but you have to take the day off. Meet at Viejas Casino May 4th 2006 at 9am for staging. Escort the "Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall" from Viejas to Balboa Park Freeways will be closed while we escort the wall. I believe the CHP will lead, then the wall then VMMC riders, VFW riders, other MC's, independent riders, then American Legion Riders will bring up the rear with a few CHP officers as sweepers. No fees, just sign a waiver. There should be around 5000 bikes in this ride.

Memorial will be open to the public May 5-7 at the Vietnam Museum and Memorial Center 2115 Park Blvd, San Diego, Ca. 92101

So who is taking Thursday off and going on this ride?

If you are SD North County Inland, ALR 149 is leaving the Escondido Post at 9am, coffee is at 8am.
