If anyone is looking for a good custom shop in the northwest area (Bellingham area) Super Rat Performance is a very good shop www.superratperformance.com They are currently doing work on my XL. The owners are two brothers Carl and Mark Bjorklund. They both are very talented. Recently they built a very cool cafe racer out of an old Triumph Trident. They have a special love for sportsters and both of them compete in local flat track races. You can find them on Myspace also.
They are very big supporters of our nations military and are more than willing to give us a hand with making our bikes something special not just something with off the shelf parts put on it. They are really good about sticking with a realistic budget. They're only charging me $600 for a one of a kind stainless exhaust. I highly recommend them I've known them for a year now.
