Is it true that you can't buy or have HD brand paint shipped into CA?

I believe it. I know a door company that manufactures the doors in CA, then ships them to Mexico to be finished because of EPA rules in CA about the paint product.

Thanks but, ouch, they're not inexpensive for custom work. Edit: There was a misunderstanding and they are going to re-quote tomorrow.

There are plenty of compliant, accurate, quality replacements in California. All you need is a code and a paint supply vendor.
