Motorcycle Dealers Five dealerships representing 14 brands of motorcycles have joined together to present the inaugural Highway 1 Block Party on Pacific Coast Highway in Harbor City, California, on Saturday, August 21 from 10am to 5pm.
The participating dealers, all within several blocks of each other on Pacific Coast Highway, are California Boss Hoss (1414 PCH), California Harley-Davidson (1517 PCH), Indian Motorcycle Los Angeles (1521 PCH), Pacific Motorsports (1358 PCH), and AAMCO Transmissions (1520 PCH).
Thousands of motorcyclists, enthusiasts, and South Bay locals are expected for what will become an annual event. "We're inviting the entire community to join the party and discover the excitement of the motorcycle lifestyle," said Mark Ruffalo, the Block Party chairman and owner of California Harley and Indian Motorcycle Los Angeles.
The 14 motorcycle brands being showcased are Big Bear Choppers, Big Dog, Boss Hoss, Harley-Davidson, Indian, Intrepid, Kawasaki, KymcoUSA, Polaris, Travertson, Ultra, Ural, Victory, and Yamaha.
All of the motorcycle dealerships will have ride-in motorcycle shows with Best in Show in all categories. All bikes should sign-in for the shows between 8am and 9:30am. AAMCO Transmission will feature a classic car show. Other festivities at all five locations include live entertainment and DJs, food fairs and barbecues, vendors, contests, prizes, and much more.
A special attraction of the Block Party will be California Harley-Davidson's 35th Anniversary Party. The dealership, founded in 1975, is one of the largest Harley dealerships in California. The 8-piece United Blues Band, featuring guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, vocals, and three horns, will perform all day.
A special anniversary ceremony is scheduled for 1:00pm.
The Highway 1 Block Party will take place between 1358 and 1521 Pacific Coast Highway, one mile west of the 110 Harbor Freeway and 5 miles east of Redondo Beach. The party is free and open to all ages.
