Gotta say I was very disappointed with the Run this year.
I was last there in 2009, was wall to wall vendors from the Riverside to Harrahs.
This year you probably could have fit the whole thing in the Edgewater and the Belle parking lots.
And no custom builders were represented.
Even though the vendors were sparse the people were great.
Perhaps if the economy changes it will improve.

 

Just got home... Good thing I hit oatman and kingman Friday morning because Saturday was just too windy... We were going to roll to the grand canyon Saturday but cancelled due to the wind.... The bands were not as good this year as last which kinda put a damper on things... Still had a good time regardless...

 

I thought that it was just me. I also thought that there were fewer vendors. I noticed that there was parking where there was vendors last year.

I still had a good time. I enjoyed the Biker Burlesque Wednesday night. I hit the Golden Nugget Club Thursday night. There was a large crowd that grew every night from Tuesday to Friday when I left. And there was an increase in the Metro cars and Motor cops every night too. I saw 3 stops just riding from the Tropicana to the Golden Nugget Thursday night.
I saw many bikes going to Laughlin as I left. I bet that it was "Elbows to A--holes" from Friday on. I'm glad I left.

 

Friday was mello. Lots of parking spaces left. I arrived weds and had the room booked until sat night but said heck with it and left Sat Morning as not much was happening. Hell (not that this is a bad thing) but there wasn't a single traffic back up crossing the bridge into town. Or at the lights on the main drag. pretty easy to navigate with the huge decline in people attending. It appeared there were more cars than bikes driving around.

Went to Oatman and checked things out on Thursday hoping to avoid the crowed that never showed,

 

 

Saw some cool stuff motoring down stream.

 

I forgot a camera and had to use my phone so my pictures aren't the best. I met Fuzzy math and his wife, Very nice people. I was hoping to ride with their group Friday, but I got on a heater at the craps table and stayed out until Early Friday morning and wasn't sober by the 0930 depart time. Fuzzy Maths wife must be good luck cause I got on a good luck streak good enough to cover expenses for the trip.
