new HD owner here. picked up a bike from cycle city. looking forward to ride with some folks later after my bike arrives next month. my church also has a group that gets together and rides.

Howdy all,

Question for any military folks that may be haunting this area. I am being considered for a position on Oahu with GenDyn and would like to know about the household goods move regarding vehicles and my bike. Any experiences would be helpful should I get this position and try to move the autos there. I just retired from my beloved Corps in Sep of 2012 and still have a final move available.

Other question for everyone: recommended housing on Oahu? I would most likely be working at Hickam and have looked at Makakilo, Kapolei and Mililani. What is the drive like from K-Bay? North Shore? How about cost of housing? Thoughts?
