Default Headset Compatibility

Anyone know anything about this version of the TFT screen and headset compatibility? Is the new PA going to require H-D branded headsets in order to get stereo quality sound like the Rushmore bikes did? Are there any current models using this display? I have Sena 50S headsets.

I have been through the user manual and it says nothing at all about needing HD branded anything. Just that the bike will pair via Bluetooth to a headset and a Phone (Android or Apple). So I think/hope they have just implemented "industry Standard".

I have a built in Sena unit in my Schuberth modular helmet, so I hope it will interface with that as well. That connects to my Garmin and my iPhone normally for nav, music and calls - presumably just as your 50S does.

I think it should be OK....

They never mentioned it on the Rushmores either. Technically it allowed all headsets to pair. They just limited the signal to mono for the non branded stuff and forced everyone to buy the H-D branded Senas to obtain stereo.

All bluetooth Headsets work with the controls on the handlebars.
