I have removed the fuel tank several times, and I saw in the fule line just one quick disconnector. So teh Fuel filter must be in the fuel tank right before the fuel pump. If you turn the fuel tank upside down, you can remove it and replace/clean it.

This.
The fuel filter is at the bottom of the tank, which is pretty much where all of the sediment is going to be. The filter will suck all of this up and get clogged up very easily apparently. It's a good position I suppose especially if you're getting fuel from a poor country or something backwoods
My question is? I've been getting nothing but top-tier fuel from reputable fuel providers. Is this truly dirty fuel sediment? Or is the fuel tank falling apart from within. 🤷🏼♂️

After a 3 month battle with HD, my new fuel pump arrived at the dealer yesterday. Fingers crossed it does the trick. I won't know until spring if its working but optimistic. It's currently resides in Calgary Harley, 2500 miles from my house and deep in the heart of winter.
Trip to Oklahoma from TX tonight and my fuel pump started screaming again right when I get here after weeks of being fine and happy. Guess it's time for another fuel pump
