I have always called the PA my Hooligan bike. Its surprisingly agile considering its original design purpose, and would probably have left all my (old) sport bikes in the dust.
So this bike here I think would be a shi$ eating grin inducing bike if I have ever seen one.
Trying to get a baseline here. How would this variant compare to a CBR1000RR on a race track?
The Honda makes more horse power but it has to really wind up the RPM to do it. The Pan America makes about the same amount of torque and it's peak power comes on sooner.... so coming out of a turn the PA will out accelerate the Honda but about the time the turn straightens out... the Honda will take over in the straight so it's going to be a rider's race as the bikes are going to be competitive at different points on the track. But in a straight the Honda will whip the Harley... but on a track it's going to be hard to make use of peak power for more than an instant. I'm not a competitive track rider, someone with more experience should chime in...
Inline 4 vs V-Twin they both have strengths and weaknesses.
