They've defiantly been modified if they aren't aftermarket. That's a shovel head style exhaust mount setup, pan's had a spigot the sticks out about an inch and pan pipes use a clamp to hold on to it.

Thanks. I want to change the exhaust and need to make sure I order the correct thing.
Good call those are defiantly shovel pipes, post up a a shot the whole side of the bike so we can tell you if there's any issues you need to be aware of before ordering. Pipes that will fit a generator bike are different.
Better? .... rear brake is a disc.... I am going to put floor boards back on (the pegs are to far a reach especially on the right side because of the carb) and a set of dual exhaust for looks and so I can toss a set of saddle bags on. The plan is to ride her to Sturgis this summer. Also a Sprung seat.....lol.
Ok, those look like somebody made them. What you'll be looking for is pipes for a 66 to 69 that will fit a hardtail with the wrap around oil bag. You may have to go find an old school shop somewhere and have a conversation with a gray hair or two to find what you need. Start with Paughco, they would my first choice in the hunt for old school stuff like that and they do phone help.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong or seeing things.
But don't the early, stock front shovel heads have the exhaust mounting bolt at the 12 o'clock, single mount hole only.

Good catch on the front head I didn't pay attention to that, bolt position does look different.
OP don't think stock pipes are going to work for you , as I said those are custom made.
