HAL, very nice job on the restoration. Got a 65 that I will start when I retire in 6 months. Quick question...My seat bannana seat has the correct stamp for 65 but the cover is trashed. I put a solo tractor seat on it shortly after I got her in 1970. Did you have your seat re-covered? Or is it still original? If redone where did you send it. I have a couple of seats that I could pull the covers from and am thinking of pulling the clips and trying to redo it myself. Any experience with that during your restoration?
Hal, 2 words, AWESOME JOB. Looks wonderful. Talk about a conversation stopper when you pull into the local watering hole. Thank you for preserving a great piece of American art. Ride it with pride. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'm GUMBY Dammit
