I'm looking to start a project building a 45 bobber from a purchased rolling chassis. Below are the ones I'm considering. Does anyone have experience with any of these you would share?
The first and second ones are the same add and its at cost of the stuff to buy plus shipping not a bad deal yet nothing is OEM original
3 and 4th ones are V Twin kits and my guess they dont have them in stock you will get it in a month or more and its v twin retail plus an add to cover his costs for add and money transfer
You will be better off finding a real frame or good rolling 45. What you are thinking will turn into a money pit that will not be worth much after, vintage guys want original parts. I would never consider a replica frame when original 45 frames are still out there, though the prices went up. Basket case 45's are still out there, go to some AMCA meets and find Milwaukee parts, good luck.
