OK, sorry for the tease. I was hoping someone besides Architect would recognize the bike.
Back story
I had been shopping for a early panhead. Friend of mine Andy sent me a link to a 48' restored bike for sale.
Looking at the bike, I starting to recognize it. Some of you will also.
Hellonewman did a build thread in 2020 showing the very nice, intricate restoration of this bike.

It was a tough two week buying process but my wife and I drove through the snow from Florida to Canada to pick it up this weekend.
Three days and 2700 miles. The first picture shows picking the bike up on Friday in Canada and the second is it unloaded Sunday Morning in Florida and the dirty van to show the miles.
Luckily I had a new empty van at work to haul it so I didn't have to get it dirty in the back of my truck.
I would never have bought a bike unseen or even attempt to buy out of Canada but feeling like I knew this bike and Hellownewman, I bought it.
In person it does not disappoint.
I have mixed feeling on the purchase as I will always put some miles on a bike. I will not own a garage princess. But this bike had 2 miles since restoration and was a museum piece.
This will not be my daily rider but it will get some exposure.

Yes it did look familiar to me too, but what were the odds of it being the same bike?
