Default Piston rings for 1950 panhead stroker

I apologize if this is a dumb question but it's been a long time. I have a 1950 panhead stroker that ran like a dream before life threw me a **** ball and the bike just sat for about 35 years. I'm now in the process of bringing it back to life. The cylinders and pistons, 060 over are in great shape but i now need to replace the rings because i broke one. I've looked for rings online but it's too confusing, way too much information. So, can someone please advise me as to what rings I need and where to get them?
Thanks

Can you take them to an independent HD shop, machine shop, or engine rebuilder? They can probably mike the parts and find some rings.

That may be possible but I seriously doubt it. I live on the big island hawaii, We're pretty remote out here. I can get 2 brand new aftermarket stock cylinders with pistons and rings for about $600 from Dennis Kirk but I'm wondering If that would have an effect the flywheel and the connecting rods. I know it will definitely change the compression ratio.
I guess this is what's confusing me, a 60 over piston is a 60 over piston whether it's a stroker or not right? Can i I use regular 060 over Hastings piston rings?

Without knowing the brand of piston, you are only guessing. Maybe on Oahu you can find a good automotive machine shop. They will have access to the whole Hastings catalog and the ability to measure your rings. Then you'll be sure you have the right ones.

You will be able to replace them for a lot cheaper than $600 and you'll have a known quality motor.

Ok my guess you have 5/64 compression rings for the most part they are gone it was switching when you had that done today it 1/16 compression and 3 /16 oil rings

but ask around local dealers for some one who buys direct eastern mc parts could still make pistons and ring sets in the size you need

but they will also have replacements in the 1/16 type

years back the reason they went away from the 5/64 sets was it was hard on the cylinder walls and it wore out the piston ring lands causing it to smoak again in a couple thousand miles — so up date it stopp looking for the replaced junk
