Default 6 volt battery & bulbs?

The guy who sold me the bike said it needed a battery. Well, as I was stranded in the 110 heat yesterday, kickin' the crap out of her to start it , it occurred to me I should start looking for one. I am thinking (hoping) the battery was my problem. The seller just put a new regulator on (I still have the delco since it may not be the problem) and the generator is generating.

Anyway where's a good source for a good battery. Since you can't see it, I am hoping for a lithium or gel battery upgrade. Can I find a 6 volt to fit the Pan?

Also bulbs for the dash neutral light? Thanks all...

J&P Cycles has a 6 volt battery. It is a acid type battery. Call them (855-841-5209) and they have a catalog for vintage Harleys. They will send you one. It would also be to your benefit to get a shop manual. Good luck.

Thanks, I need that, the shop manual is on order. I found a modern sealed 6v battery that comes in a repop original HD case I have ordered.
