A friend and I just got ahold of a 1966 Panhead. The only problem
is it's basically in 5 boxes . I am trying to get ahold of a free service
manual. Some People should not try to be a mechanic.
Depending on how complete it is in the boxes, it may or may not be worth putting back together as a complete 1965. When all is said and done you may have a very great riding 65 pan but not original condition. Can you post some pics?
And like has been suggested invest in an original parts and shop manual. Cost you maybe 50 bucks. Cheap price IMO. Guess 'free' one is out there but even on the Flea CD copies are going to run you 5-25 bucks.
