need ideas/help

Hey guys,
I'm fixing to get my '04 softail standard repainted. I def wanna go flat/matte black, but im wondering should I do any airbrushing/custom work or just go clean and simple.

I really like the old school flat look with minimal decals, such as the iron logo or the old 1903-1933 Harley lettering.

BUT, I also like pin-up girls and WWII nose art.

I'm at a crossroads and looking for a little thought..
