Default Badge removal
So I was thinking about removing the badges on my gas tank however I'm just concerned about paint discoloration I know I see a lot without the badges but was jus wondering if anyone has experienced this when removing theirs

Heat, fishing line and goof off..................if there is discoloration put the same ones or different ones on. I changed my on my Street Bob but the bike was less than a year old so paint had no time to discolor.

Hair dryer (not heat gun..lol) and what he said!!! I use braided fishing line, coat with car wax...

Thanks guys I took them off and unfortunately I have the discoloration may jus paint the badges black and rock the black on black or may jus say screw it and roll with it like it is lol

Sucks man sorry to hear. Have you checked out the badges at the local Harley Dealership? There are some cool retro badges you might like.

I haven't but maybe I will take a look. But not sure I def like the badge less look but who knows something might jump out at me
