Default Mazda red

I always liked the Mazda red color. They have two colors and I am not sure the name of it, but it's the one that looks awesome in the sun. I saw little MX yesterday in that color. I also always liked 2017 HD red, which is very similar to Mazda red, but not as bright. Acura also has that red color that is custom and is very similar to Mazda's. Still, for me, Mazda is the best red color out there.

With that said, my SGS is vivid black. If I ever decided to have it painted in that Mazda color, would it be recommended to drop my stuff off to a good car body shop? Or are there special motorcycle paint shops that are preferred? What is the consensus with the pros here about this? Realistically, how much something like that would cost? One color auto paint, no funky pin stripping, or fading. Considering I would drop the parts off.

EDIT: I just found it. The color is called Mazda Red Soul Crystal. They have two red colors, which on their website for Miata MX only shows in one, red soul. The color I am talking about is their "crystal" version.

I’m a red fan. And yes, I’ve seen that Mazda color and like it.

I wonder if it would look at good on a bike considering the surfaces are lot smaller? Everytime I see that Mazda color I just stare at it. It's so nice. Very very close to 2017 red color.

$5k.. that's what I was thinking too. Do you think it would be better to have a car shop do it since they would have experience or does it really matter?

I had a red Mazda 6 and got a chubby every time I walked up to it. It really is stunning in the sun, If I ever repaint my bike that will be the color.
