Im thinking about having my denim black FLHT done in black powdercoat. At 2 years the denim is already getting scuffed up, one fender was scratched and the other had a rock chip in it when I bought it. I like the denim but dont want to pay for a repaint if it isnt going to be very durable.
A few questions:
1. Will I be able to get the side covers and fairing color matched or will that be impossible since they are two entirely different coating systems?
2. How long can i expect powdercoat to last? uv protection?
3. If I get a rock chip in a fender can it be repaired or will it have to be stripped and recoated?
