etching chrome
Hi,
A while ago I seen a chopper that had logos etched into the chrome parts. It was a similar effect as hazing on glass for showers. Has anyone else seen this done to chrome before? (Sorry, I didn't take a photo of it) I would like to etch some of my chrome this way with a logo I found a while ago.

This is done with a little power supply and a chemical just do a search for metal Etching. I have a small unit at work we use for marking Stainless steel a DC etch will leave an effect like etched glass and a an AC etch will leave a darker brown black etch
