what black are you talking about... harley open bids their powder suppliers and it tends to go between three or 4 different providers and powders... if you look at the bikes you will see differences in the shades... HD uses a wrinkle, satin, gloss, and texture black... all of which come in about 3 different shades of each depending on who won the bid... what one are you referring to?

JRK- I have a question for you on wrinkle finish (you seem to be knowledgeable on PCing). I just picked up an 04 Night Train and the primary and other coated finishes are in wrinkle black, however this wrinkle seems quite different than on an 07 street bob and 09 Night train I have. Do you have any info on which years they used "which" wrinkle finish?
