Riding friend
Dear fellow riders,
Please pray for my friend Martin. I spoke to him this morning and he is in great pain and only has a few weeks to live. Years ago he was my flight instructor and we shared a common love of motorcycles. He loves his Moto Guzzi's. He is a wonderful person of deep faith and I was hoping to have his friendship a few more years but it's not to be. Please send prayers if you can.

Thanks guys, He was a ROMEO RIDER (retired old motorcyclists eating out) and rode with a good group of guys for lunch every week.

We are given only so many days in this creation of God. When he calls, we have no argument, no reason to prolong our stay and nothing that demands our presence here. Only our legacy remains until the last of our friends and family depart this Earth as well. We are go in silence beyond the threshold of time and place. Our final hours and moments I believe are only our body, wrestling with the fatigue while our soul is being counseled and prepared for the greatest of all encounters.
We can only hope that our path to that threshold is one that encourages others to live for him and to demonstrate the peace that we find when we trust in him.
