Prayer before you ride?

How many get on their knees and ask for a safe journey before you ride?
It helps me to get in the proper frame of mind beforeI ride.

I don't generally say one before a ride on my Harley but I do say one before each ride on my motocross bike. I think I may change that.

I find that the seat time I get is some of the best times for me to have a conversation with the Lord.
I spend most of my time riding on the highway. This leaves me with plenty of time for prayer and I use it. I am always thankful for the ride and the time spent with Him.

I never saddle up before I thank God for this day and a safe ride. I also thank him for my bike, along with many other things. Just think of the many people in this world who don't have the pleasures we have.. Something else to be thankful for. Dan
