The clutch died on the Ultra last night, anyone got any suggestions what to put back in As it is a trike I am thinking I would want to go with a heavy duty clutch, Looking at a Rivera Primo Pro Clutch Kit 1056-0022, Their sales spiel is below, anybody had anything to do with them?, Provide a large increase in clutch plate surface for getting the horsepower to the rear wheel Feature a diaphragm clutch spring for maximum plate pressure Include hub, plates and spring.
Easy installation; just remove the clutch hub, press in the Pro Clutch hub and install the clutch pack.
Replacement clutch components available.
Or I could get a set of Barnett Carbon Fibre Clutch Plate Kit, I have a S/E Pressure Plate for when the clutch did die, I am open to any suggestions
I'm running the stock plates and S/E Spring (came that way from the Factory,) and still haven't replaced anything in the clutch up to this point ( and that's 15 years now and just over 147,000 miles.)
Rivera Pro Clutch, Bandit Sportsman, Barnett Scorpion, or Evolution Industries Termniator are all awesome choices. You'll have lighter clutch pull with any of these compared to just have the SE heavy clutch spring.
Just DONT get the Screamin Eagle Race Clutch (very harsh clutch pull)!
I put in a Rivera Pro on my 72 FLH and now wonder shy I didn't do it 10 yrs. ago. Ol Girl shifts like butter and when you grab handful of throttle and gettin it, no slippage. Great Clutch.
