Baker high torque bearing replacement
Hey all, just wanna give my experience with replacing OEM race and bearing on IP , I rebuilt my entire drive train, transmission, primary side, clutch,compensator and chain tensioner, put baker high torque in place of oem setup, removed the clutch side shield on bearing, put all together and after 88 miles, primary leak!! Removed IP , and my theory was oil pooling up in that compartment between seal and bearing and unable to evacuate/ circulate, so I removed opposite side shield of baker bearing facing tranny, new seal, and 80 miles no leak, original seal was fine , no tears, ! So remove them shields, just like the OEM bearing was sitting
