Replace a Drive Belt '99 Electra Glide
Well I just hit 37k miles today and my drive belt snapped tonight 3 miles from home. 2 hours on the side of the road waiting for help. Got the bike home though.
So just how difficult is it to replace this? I have a motorcycle lift, not a table and I am pretty good with a wrench. Nearest dealership is an hour away so we are looking at two hours towing time, plus repair to get it there. Would much rather do it here and save the towing expense if this is not that difficult. I don't mind the time factor.,
Any help would be appreciated.

not bad if you have the tools
outer primary,clutch and comp sprocket,inner primary,starter,wheel, and swing arm has to be partialy removed just enough to get belt between the frame and arm.
good time to take a look at your stator also
