Default road glide headlight cover

I have an 01 Road Glide that the headlamp cover fell off of. I've located a part number for a HD headlamp cover (67759-98A), but I don't know what year it refers to. I believe that 98-04 have the same cover and 05 on are different. Anyone know the correct part number? Mebe then I could locate it on the web instead of paying the ~$70 that the harley dealer wants.

You have asked this question before. I googled that part number and your earlier thread came up second! Seems your simplest way out of this is to go and sweet talk your local dealer, or phone around dealers who offer discounts.

It was suggested that I post this in the technical forum rather than the general forum, which is why you are seeing double. Also my local Harley dealer's employees work on a commission and therefore are reluctant to hand out part numbers.

Now I understand. However they can earn themselves a commission by selling you a factory parts list for your bike, which will tell you the number of every part that goes into your bike!
