Default Hard Shifting and hard finding neutral

I have a 99 Roadking with 116" S&S and Jims 6 speed. The clutch is a Rivera Pro Clutch. At 100,000k I changed the primary chain and realized my bike had not shifted right for a long time. It was all of a sudden much easier to shift. But... it only lasted for a couple of weeks. I'm having trouble getting into neutral with the bike stopped. When I go into 1st gear it grinds and klunks into gear. With the bike off, its no problem.

I've adjusted the primary chain loose, no help, adjusted tight, no help. I've adjusted the clutch, no help. I've adjusted the shift drum, no help.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Please help... I'm a shade tree mechanic and refuse to go to a shop unless absolutely necessary.

How much slack are you leaving in the cable? How much did you back off the adjuster when adjusting the clutch?

The cable slack is just under 1/8". The adjuster at the clutch is finger tight, backed off one full turn.

Take the one full turn down to 1/2 to 3/4 and try it a gain. It sounds like the plates aren't seperating enough.

Thanks all for the comments. I run ATF transmission fluid (Rivera Pro Clutch). I replaced the discs/plates. Problem fixed. I run a lot of torque and I like to use it. The Pro Clutch has been in for about 4 years.
