Tank getting scuffed
Folks
I noticed that on my bike that I am losing the shine won my gas tank here my chaps rub. I suspect that it just the polish but since the bike is brand new (500 miles) I have never really shined 'er up yet. One of my friends gave me a sheet of that clear 3M plastic film that they put on the hood of cars to save the paint and shine. He suggested that I put a piece of this on each side of the tank where my legs are rubbing on the tank. I am not too sure I want to do that. Any comments.
There must be 500 different polishs/waxes out there. Which one is the best?
