It is the principle of it. I did not get what they advertised for the price they advertised, which I paid. Having responsibility to deliver as advertised, it should be required in business.
I have ordered tons of stuff from Dennis Kirk. They ship faster than anyone I know of. They have an excellent website to find parts, and tell you exactly how many they have of them in stock. Prices are always in line.
Then, they include return shipping labels with their shipments.
You don’t like it for whatever reason? Fill out the form, paste the label on the box, return it, easy peasy.
To me that is the problem, we all, even businesses should have to deliver as advertised. Not enough people care about consequences of what they do, not enough accountability.

I understand your frustration. I do.
But they sell a crap load of stuff, and somewhere the description fell though the cracks. I have found their descriptions to often be better and more complete/accurate than the manufacturer’s.
They will take your item back, I assume. They have taken mine back no question, and at no cost on the return.
To deliver what I bought, it really isnt that hard to understand, live up to your end of the deal, I did. I dont want my money back, I want what I ordered, point blank!

I spent my life in a career managing expectations of others. I was fairly successful at that. Had a good reputation doing so.
Sometimes that cannot be achieved. This is one of those times.
When that happens, most vendors do the same thing I did when they realize they are at that impasse.
Offer a refund, and if that is not satisfactory, basically, fire the customer.
I think you got fired.
