Do You know? BEST Motorcycle Sanctioned Rides..............???
Do you know of an EXCELLENT motorcycle sanctioned ride???
For Example:
Iron Butt Association: www.IronButt.com
Open to riders all over the world.
They have a VARIETY of GREAT sanctioned rides. Saddle Sore (1,000 miles in less than 24 hrs.) and MANY more.
Southern California Motorcycle Association: www.sc-ma.com
Open to riders all over the world (not just Southern California).
They have the USA Four Corners Tour....riding the 4 corners of the USA under so many days and MANY more rides/ride categories.
BOTH of the associations above give awards, trophy's, plaques, other recognition etc... but it is the RIDE that I am looking for.
Does anyone know of any other associations,
clubs, organizations, etc... that have "sanctioned" rides? Large organizations not the smaller 25 or 50 rider organizations. Associations that allow ALL TYPES of bikes not just Harleys or Hondas or whatever but allow ALL types of bikes.

I suspect each of us might have a slightly different definition of excellent. A "great" ride to me might be worthless to someone else.
As to sanctioned, do you have a definition that you require? There are hundreds if not thousands of "sanctioned" rides around the country. Some of them have good reputations where others, not so much.
I am familiar with the two you mentioned (and an Iron Butt member)...both seem to have a respected following.

Maybe ppl here can throw organizations into the pot and I will sift thru it find some.
