I've got a 2br oceanfront condo confirmed for a few days during spring bike week that I will not be able to use now due to work.
If anyone plans to go and still needs a place to stay, let me know. I booked a nonrefundable rate on Hotels.com so I can't get a refund. I'm not expecting to recoup 100% and will entertain reasonable offers.
Details:
Wyndham Ocean Blvd - less than 3 blocks walk to Main St.
2br/2ba oceanfront condo
1 king, 2 doubles and 1 queen sofa bed
Full kitchen
Covered multilevel garage w/key card access
Sat 3/7 to Wed 3/11
How much you hoping to get out of this? I've already got room booked for 7 nights for the October rally at the Maverick for $550. Been thinking about going to the spring rally but just all depends on the weather. If I was committed with a room I would go for sure. It would most likely be just me and possibly the wife. I would be willing to chip in for the room with the king bed. Anybody else willing?
I paid $379/nt plus tax, so just under $1600 for the four days. I'd like to recoup at least $1000. For a couple that's a little on the outrageous side, but in my case it was 5 of us splitting it.
We stay there every year, just this year money is tight for a couple of the guys and I got roped in to a project at work that I can't get out of.
For us, it's well worth the extra $ to be that close to Main St. since we end our days there and are usually pretty hammered by night's end. Being able to leave the scoots in the garage, not having to pay to park near Main and being able to walk home instead of chancing a DUI are why we stay there.
If I can find a couple more folks to chip in 250 each, I can see the $1000 for ya. Really don't have any full time ride'n partners anymore. 4 peeps @ 250 each is a good deal. I'll be in touch for sure.
