Thanks to all for the hints and tips everyone. Thinking of a stop in Cody for a look around. Check out the museum. Stay either there or Red Lodge. We will of had enough of camping , hot dogs and beer - a hotel would be nice. Well maybe not sick of beer. Ha ha.
Anyhow looks like a great ride. Hoping for good weather but prepared for the worst. Snow means stopping and turning around. I'm not an ice rider.
I rode it in June, 2013 and I lucked out on the weather, cool but nice. I also
road the Chief Joseph and while Beartooth is more impressive, Chief Joseph is
not to be missed..
My wife and I are heading out from central Minnesota through the black hills to Cody. We'll go through Sturgis the Sunday its over. Thought about attending this year but they claim they expect 500,000 heads this year and thats 499,998 too many for me. Rooms are booked and I'm really looking foward to it.
