Smile Devil's Highway

One of my favorite all time runs is climbing the Devil's Highway along Coranado Trail Scenic Byway from Morenci to Alpine AZ. Lots of switchbacks and tight turns.

Have the pleasure of riding it about once a year. One of the great motorcycle roads in the US. A lot like the Dragon, but 80 miles instead of 11.

I've not ridden that, but just did some vicarious trips via Google Earth and have added that to my "must ride" list of roads! First time I've heard about it, but it looks like a blast! And from what I could tell from the pic's along the way, it wasn't traveled much.

Thanks for tip.

I'd suggest you post in appropriate sub-forum section and not hijack the OP's thread.

For my money, that's the best ride in AZ.

Rode the Devils highway in 2010. Snow along the highway to 102 degrees in a couple of hours. New Mexico and Arizona have some excellent highways. Great ride, get there if you can.
