Which would you choose?

Third week in May...would you choose Mobile Alabama Area, Waco Texas Area or somewhere else?

This is a riding trip from northeast Missouri!

Mobile, but make sure you hit Memphis on the way.

Somewhere else. Depends on how far you want to go, but think about West Virginia, North Carolina and Virginia(Blue Ridge Parkway). This is all just as easy a ride as Mobile or Waco.

lots of great riding just past Waco. Not sure what around Waco itself. West of Austin, San antone....hill country.

70 miles east of Mobile is Pensacola Beach. from there to Panama City it is consistently rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Snow white sand. Beautiful water.

Go west young man. Northwest Arkansas is great if you've never done it. You can easily do 4 or 5 days riding on some really great motorcycle roads. Anything west of Denver is great riding. Million Dollar Highway, Silver Thread, Pikes Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park (Trail Ridge Road), Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Grand Mesa. Further to the west is Arizona's Oak Creek Canyon, Coronado Trail, Sedona Jerome, Prescott, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley etc.

Then there's always the Black Hills. Riding there is really great when the rally is not in town.

I did a write up on our trip to Panama City Beach on here a few months ago. you can look it over and see some of the things we saw and did in the Mobile to PCB area. And the time frame you are talking about is close to what we did (last week of May). And for me, that is the best time to go to this area. Its warm enough to enjoy your trip with out all your leathers but early enough that the prices for lodging hasn't gone up for the summer season and its not near as crowded. No waits at restaurants and such. Go from middle June on and every place on the beach is a 2-3 hour wait at restaurants and such.
