Hi, wife and I are going to beach with family, Pittsburgh to Ocean City. Leaving Pa sat, meeting up with the cages there. looking to go down Skyline Drive then to the beach. Any great rides to Ocean City, looking to stay out of traffic, if possible. Is area biker friendly? Any place to steer clear of? Any great places to visit?
I'm a bit local to OC MD or at least a little nor west of there. Hitting skyline then over to the eastern shore is a stretch I can tell ha that. It's a busy summer town, biker freindly all around, plenty places to eat n drink.
I like RT.50 down to OC. I'd say there are no areas to avoid. You can check out Ocean City's page of events and see what's going on down there. They are having a Mako Shark tournament this weekend with weigh ins at Bahia Marina. On 21st street at Fishtales. Seen probably dozen bikes last weekend there. I'm into different beers. If you are they have Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware, Evolution Brewery in Salisbury, Maryland, Tall Tales outside of OC on way to Salisbury, OC Brewing Co. right in OC.. If the wife likes Orange Crushes to drink, check out Harborside Grill off Golf Course Road. Macky's on the bay side is good for lunch. You can sit right out in sand next to water. Dead Freddies on the bay is good also.New place called the Ropewalk just opened up on bayside 73 rd street I believe. Beautiful view on bay. Outlets are right outside OC and some in Delaware. Three Harley dealers in Delaware. Closest to OC is Rommel in Seaford Delaware. Lot of cops watch your speed. All I can think of right now. I was gonna hwad down Saturday and stay overnight. Weather don't look promising though.
