jimmmya, right or wrong I assume you are on the dragon in that pic..... be careful riding on and across the double yellow line. It can get you or someone else killed. They just lost someone on the dragon a couple weeks ago.

kel03, I am aware of that.... that is why the first word, was the guy in the pics screen name. (jimmmya). The point being people should remain vigilant when riding the dragon and other similar roads.
yes a sportbiker lost his life on June 21, and yes I am a little left of center. I could see way ahead of my "line" and knowing the photo OP was there I was taking it tight
There's really not a ton to see in Robbinsville itself. It's a pretty tiny "town". But all of these roads are within a short ride away so you can't go wrong - Wayah, the Dragon, Cherohola, and 28.

Compared to Florida, ANY road up there is great with amazing scenery.

Pick up a ride map of the area. Lots of good roads in every direction around there. As far as Robinsville, not much to do other than use it as a base camp for riding. There aren't many restaurants either. I would say stay away from the local Mexican joint. Food was not great and it's a good thing we were going right back to the room afterward. There is a diner across from the Microtel called Nana and Pop's that I do recommend. Good food good people and good ice cream. We met Mark from the tv show "Moonshiners" at that diner. He's a regular there as is Jeff and Jim Tom. They all live in Robinsville. I just came back from there June 31 so if you have any questions shoot me a PM
Man, what a awesome sit-rep. Thanks for your trip and great pixs. Our group is headed down this weekend for a week of riding, can't wait. Grinning all the way.
