If something from the IBA isn't important (and it isn't to me), photo your odo, then you and your bike in Jacksonville; then go top off and get a receipt that has the station location, address and is time and date stamped.
Then ride a bunch, west. It's only 2 roads, I 10 and I 8, after that it's surface streets. Take the photo of you and the bike, the odo and the stopwatch function on your watch for total time as you have a 3 hour difference. Then go fill up and get the same time, date and address stamped receipt.
What you'll gain from a trip like that is more apparent than a certificate or license plate frame from the IBA.
I've had motel clerks, police, gas station attendants, family, friends etc. sign my witness forms.
Only once has anyone ever turned me down.
That was a motorcycle rider from California in Sturgis. After he saw the gas station attendants sign for me, he suddenly wanted to also. I told him I already had what I needed.
Just tell them:
"I am starting/completing a long distance motorcycle ride from/to xxx to xxx...
Would you mind witnessing the beginning/end of my ride for the certification process.
If you get contacted later, all you need to do is verify I was here."
I've found the easiest witnesses are police and firefighters.
Just so you know.
There isn't a plate bracket for the CC50 or the CCC100. They issue the certificate.
The last license plate bracket that is issued is for the BBG, 1500 miles in 24 hours.
