You will be in a CAR.
A CAR is different than a motorcycle and parking for you will be more difficult than bike parking in Daytona area.
Basically, you will be walking a lot after trying to locate parking..
Daytona Bike week is very spread-out.
Huge motorcycle presence.
Look at a map or google earth to better understand.
Destination Daytona.
The Iron Horse, Broken Spoke Saloon.
The Race Track for vendors or seeing a race.
The main street.
Riding the loop.
Ride the coast.
All are far apart and really not walking distance to each other.
It would be far more enjoyable to check-out and leave your stuff in your rental car and rent a bike for two days.
Ride rental bike out to daytona day one...about 2 hour trip if you go slow and scenic to avoid highways...see stuff in daytona area... spend the night someplace with-in 30-35 miles to Daytona..
Look at north of Daytona for evening.
Ride bike back to Daytona.
See stuff.
Spend night someplace.
Return bike in morning.
Pick the car up.
Return car.
go home...

I'd suggest trying to find a place near DeLand. Its about 20 miles west of Daytona on the way to Orlando. They have a great Bike Event there the 1st Sat of Bike Week. Close the whole downtown to bikes, plenty of vendors and great restaurants. If you have to do Destination Daytona and Daytona H-D, which is just off I-95 about 10-12 miles north of Daytona, go very early Sat morning. Hit the Ormond Strip, a few miles south of Destination Daytona on Rte 1 on Sat afternoon (Iron Horse, Beaver Bar, Broken Spoke and more), then back to DeLand for their night time activities. Sun go to the speedway early. Its on Rte 92 which you can pick up in Deland & drive straight to. Venture down to Main St in the afternoon. Park at the church on Harvey St, one block south of Main St. If you're a walker, you can probably handle the walk from Main St (party central) across the bridge to Beach St where there are a lot of vendors. If still awake, head back out Rte 92 and turn left at the 1st light after going under I-95. Go past the big Flea Mkt & straight about 10 miles to the Cabbage Patch. Short ride down Rte 44 from there to DeLand. Btw, both Seminole Harley, a bit north of Orlando, and Orlando Harley right in Orlando have plenty of action going on during the whole event. Orlando Harley also has a full dealership in Kissimmee, down where you're staying during the week, and there's a dealership in Clermont, just west of Kissimmee. I'm sure they have something going on there during the week too. Daytona may be ground zero, but its really "Florida Bike Week" as just about every dealer in the state has something going on.
