Default Beartooth this weekend

Kim, my wife suggested we go for a ride this weekend. I found a room in Cody for Friday and Sat.. Can't wait to sit down at Pat O' Hara's for dinner. Anyone been over Beartooth lately? The guy at the motel said it's busy up there and the weather looks like it will be perfect.

Safe travels. I will be headed that way in August and I can't wait!

that's awesome. Id imagine the traffic will be terrible as the day goes on. I rode it in the morning with my brother and it was great. rode it about noon and while the area and ride was still beautiful I had to ride the brakes and or clutch a lot because of trailers, trikes and motorhomes ( this was a few years ago)

I have a friend that was over it just last weekend. Might want to check it out before you go though. I live in western Montana, and we had snow levels down to 6000' last night. At the very least bring some cold weather clothes.

We will dress warm

We went up there middle of Oct. last fall and the pass was closed so hope it's open, but if not still lots of good riding in the area.

It was open on Tuesday, as part of our group continued on and headed out there on the way to Glacier. They keep sending me pics reminding me of what I'm missing. Still one of my favorite rides. (pics from Tuesday of this week)

Great pictures! It is a great ride and we're lucky it's just a days ride to get there. Too bad you missed the ride, spring runoff is something to see and I'm anxious to see Yellowstone falls. I just checked, looks like Going to the Sun Road is still closed in Glacier, hope your friends go to Waterton in Canada it's a beautiful ride.

Will do, once bought a brand new 2009 Road King from a guy in Iron MT. who won it in a raffle for his kids hockey team. Nice country that Upper

I did the Beartooth in August, 2013. The day before it was beautiful. The day we went over the top there was a light snow.
