Cleveland Oh to Sturgis who is going ?

Leaving from the Detroit area on Friday 8/5 (around noon), If the weather holds, I plan to attempt the Iron Butt on the way out. Trying to get close to Omaha by Friday night, and into Chamberlain, SD by noon EST on Saturday for the 1000 miles. If all goes well I Plan to be at Glencoe by mid afternoon on Saturday.

I'm from Omaha and always go to Sturgis. I will be arriving at Glencoe on Thursday August 4. The fastest way to Sturgis from Omaha is 1-29 all the way to Sioux Fall, SD. Then pickup I-90 and head west to Sturgis. Speed limit is 80 mph on I-90 so you can make good time. I can get from Omaha to Sturgis in about 9 hours going out. You gain an hour so you can make it in one day if you want to . Ride safe. See you at Glencoe.

We are leaving on the 4th from NC. Weather will dictate final route, but plan to be in Rapid City on the afternoon of the 6th... One of our planned routes takes us through Dayton and picking up I-70.
