You know the original building was there at the museum and got torn down by mistake because it was soo dilapidated looking.
The original building was never at the current museum. It was over by the Juneau Avenue plant and was accidentally torn down there, long before the current museum was even a thought.
I'm pretty sure the Harley Museum is temporary closed for now. Not sure when it will reopen. Probably a COVID thing.
I've been there a few times. Always amazed on how much they saved over all those years.

Thanks for the offer. Many years ago for Harley's 105th anniversary a few of us rode from our home in Dallas to Milwaukee for the party. We stopped at two museum's...the National Motorcycle Museum in Iowa and the HD Museum in Milwaukee. Both were well worth the time.....
