I've been using Base Camp for several years, and find the ride times it provides are surprisingly accurate. Nearly all of my riding has been in the US. I'm headed to Nova Scotia this summer, so I'll be in New Brunswick, on PEI, and then on Nova Scotia.

I have us routed on almost all coastal roads. Has anyone had experience using Base Camp when riding Canadian coastal roads? Are the projected times as close to accurate up there as they are in the states? Anyone know?

I use basecamp for all my routes. I can't speak for the coastal side of Canada, but when I went to Banff area last year, the times seemed to be correct.

I just saw this and yes, Basecamp was accurate for our rides in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. I can PM you a few routes to play with if interested.
